Managing your subscription

Your FieldLabel plan lives on the Subscription page in Settings. From there you can start a paid plan, switch between monthly and annual billing, manage your card and invoices, and reach our sales team for Pro+. For a side-by-side feature comparison and prices, see Plans & pricing.

  1. Open Settings for your organization.
  2. In the settings sidebar, click Subscription (the credit-card icon).
  3. The four plan cards — Free, Basic, Pro, and Pro+ — load, with your current plan marked Current Plan.

Anyone on your team can view this page, but only admins see the action buttons. Members see the page in read-only mode. (On a Free organization, the Upgrade to Pro button in the top navigation bar also lands here.)

Switching the pricing view between Monthly and Annual

A Monthly / Annual toggle sits in the top-right of the page header. It controls which prices you see — annual billing is cheaper per month.

  • Click Annual to see annual pricing. Each card shows the per-month equivalent with a “billed annually” caption, and a “save ~%” badge appears on the toggle.
  • Click Monthly to return to monthly pricing. Monthly cards include a muted “or billed annually” line so you can compare.

Admins can move the organization to Basic or Pro. New organizations get a 14-day free trial on their first paid plan.

  1. On the Subscription page, choose Monthly or Annual with the toggle.
  2. On the Basic or Pro card, click Start Free Trial (if you are eligible) or Upgrade.
  3. You are redirected to Stripe Checkout. Optionally enter a promo or coupon code, then enter your payment details and complete checkout.
  4. You return to the Subscription page with a Subscription Updated confirmation, and the Current Plan badge moves to your new plan.

Upgrading is admins only — members do not see these buttons.

Switching your current plan between monthly and annual billing

If you are already on a paid plan, you can change how often you are billed without leaving the app.

  1. On the Subscription page, find your current paid plan card.
  2. Under Manage Subscription, click Switch to annual billing (or Switch to monthly billing).
  3. In the confirmation dialog (it asks you to confirm switching to monthly or annual billing), click Confirm switch.
  4. Wait for the Billing interval updated confirmation. Stripe applies a prorated charge or credit on your next invoice.

This is admins only and is available only when your subscription is active or trialing and not scheduled to cancel. If your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the period, switch intervals from the Stripe billing portal instead (see below). It is not available on Free or Pro+.

Managing payment, invoices, and cancellation

There is no in-app cancel button. Updating your card, downloading invoices, and cancelling all happen in the Stripe customer billing portal.

  1. On your current paid plan card, click Manage Subscription.
  2. You are redirected to the Stripe customer billing portal.
  3. In the portal, update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel the subscription.
  4. Use the portal’s return link to come back to the Subscription page.

This is admins only, and the option does not appear on the Free plan.

Pro+ is our enterprise tier — unlimited users, priority support, and custom onboarding. It does not have a self-serve price. Instead, you talk to our sales team, who set you up with a coupon code for your negotiated pricing.

  1. On the Subscription page, click Contact Sales on the Pro+ card.
  2. On the Contact sales page, fill in Name, Email, Company, Team size, and a message describing what you need. (Your name, email, and organization name are pre-filled.)
  3. Click Send inquiry.
  4. You see a Message sent confirmation. Our sales team replies with a coupon code for your Pro+ pricing.

Step 2: Apply your Pro+ coupon code at checkout

Once sales sends your coupon code:

  1. Return to the Subscription page.
  2. On the Pro+ card, click the (More Pro+ options) menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Click I’ve received a coupon code — proceed to checkout.
  4. On the Stripe checkout page, enter the coupon or promo code, complete payment, and finish checkout.

Both steps are admins only. The menu appears on the Pro+ card only for admins, and only when Pro+ is not already your current plan.

  • All billing actions — upgrading, managing your subscription, switching intervals, contacting sales, and the Pro+ coupon shortcut — are admins only. Members can view the page but see only the current-plan state.
  • Plan and billing changes are confirmed by Stripe behind the scenes, so the updated state may appear a moment after an action finishes.
  • Annual prices are shown as a per-month equivalent, but you are charged the full annual total in one payment.
