Navigating FieldLabel
When you sign in and open your organization, you land on the dashboard — your home base inside FieldLabel. From here you can jump straight into common tasks, see what you’ve worked on recently, and reach any part of the app. This page walks through what you’ll see and how to get around.
The dashboard
Section titled “The dashboard”The dashboard is the page every internal team member sees first. It’s organized into a few cards.
Quick Actions
Section titled “Quick Actions”The Quick Actions card gives you one-tap access to the two things you’ll do most often:
- Scan QR Label — opens the QR scanner so you can point your camera at a label and pull up that asset, customer, or job.
- Create New Asset — takes you straight to the new-asset form to add a piece of equipment.
Recent Jobs
Section titled “Recent Jobs”The Recent Jobs card lists the last few jobs you’ve worked on, so you can pick up where you left off. Tap any job to open its full detail page.
Your totals at a glance
Section titled “Your totals at a glance”Three count cards show the size of your organization at a glance:
- Total Assets — links to your full Assets list.
- Active Jobs — links to your Jobs list.
- Customers — links to your Customers list.
Tap any of these cards to open the matching list.
Main navigation
Section titled “Main navigation”The main navigation is always available so you can move between the core areas of the app:
- Assets — your equipment, with QR labels, photos, and custom fields. See Assets.
- Customers — the people and companies you serve. See Customers.
- Jobs — the work you do for customers. See Jobs.
- Labels — design, print, and order QR labels and stickers. See QR labels & stickers.
- Reports — issue flags and other reports. See Issue flags & reports.
- Settings — organization settings, team members, billing, and more. (Some settings are Admins only — see Accounts, teams & roles.)
You can also reach your profile, switch between organizations, and sign out from the account menu (the avatar in the top-right corner).
Upgrading your plan
Section titled “Upgrading your plan”If your organization is on the Free plan, you’ll see an Upgrade button in the top navigation. It takes you to your subscription so you can move to a paid plan and unlock more features and team seats.
What customers see
Section titled “What customers see”The dashboard above is for your internal team (Admins, Leads, and Members). Your customers, when invited to the Customer Portal, see a different and more limited view tailored to them — not the internal dashboard or navigation. Learn more in the Customer portal overview.
